Formula Library
438 electronics formulas across 32 categories — from Ohm's Law to RF link budgets. Each formula knows its variables and their units, and can solve for any one of them.
The calculator
Open any formula and you get a live calculator. Every field is documented here:
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Solve for | Choose which variable to compute; the rest become inputs. Any variable is solvable. |
| Variable inputs | One field per remaining variable, each with its own unit selector (pF, µH, kHz, …). |
| Result | Computed live, auto-scaled to a readable unit; switch the result unit, or copy it (copy-safe, no separators). |
| Save to History | Signed in: store the calculation; reopen it later from any device. |
| Add to a flow | Drop this formula — with its current inputs — into a new or existing flow. |
Solve for any variable
Formulas aren't one-directional. Ohm's Law gives you all three rearrangements from one definition:
V = I · R solve V I = V / R solve I R = V / I solve R
Units are dimensional
You work in the prefixes you like; the engine carries everything to SI and checks dimensions, so a result is never silently in the wrong unit. The same engine powers the flows and converter.
Finding a formula
Browse by category in the sidebar, or search the whole library by name, formula, or category. From a flow, the same command-palette search lets you drop any formula straight in.
